- 1 large banana
- Half an apple, peeled
Method
Peel the banana and chop it into little discs. Chop the apple into small chunks. Bung onto a plate with some baking paper (it stops it sticking to the plate) and freeze for about 10 hours (or until it’s frozen absolutely solid).
Pop it all in a blender and whizz until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sizes with a fork or something a couple of times.
Serve immediately or freeze in pots (but be aware this makes it solid and not the gelato soft-serve you get when you eat it straight away.
