It is hard to believe that something so good can be this simple. It is cheap and just awesome. A must for all students. The sauce is just delish so make sure you get plenty of it. You can freeze it. Depends how much you eat but should do three or four meals. Enjoy. Next year I have two vegetarians in my house so it only seems right that we learn a little about how they live...! This is another Nigel Slater recipe and it is superb (as ever). Also really easy.
This will change your life. All credit must go to my mum for this one. She has been making it for years. It tastes staggeringly good, and it is staggeringly easy to make. You have to try it. This is, without a doubt, one of the greatest achievements of the barking baker thus far. It is moist and delicious. It takes an hour to cook and it is worth every second. Alternatively, turn it into a chocolate chip and banana muffins - just add your favourite chocolate to the mix and pop in cupcake holders! You can also make little jars with this very similar recipe. Do it. Get excited. This is a great summer recipe. It is healthy, light but somehow quite filling.
The only downside is that it has what I call "cat food tuna" (tuna from a tin) which everyone knows smells horrible. However, this recipe makes it bearable! Give it a go. This is a good one as it makes chicken that little bit more exciting. We have all had plain chicken breast and although it is nice, it is pretty boring. It is dead simple and tastes great. Serve with mashed potato (cheeky microwave stuff) or new potatoes, spinach and carrots.
