- Puff pastry
- 2 rashers of bacon
- 1 egg, beaten with fork
- Milk, about the same volume as the beaten egg
- Handful of spinach
- Grated cheese
- Salt and pepper
Method
Fry the bacon. Beat the egg with a fork in a large mug. Add the milk, cheese, bacon (chopped up) and spinach. Stir together gently. Season with salt and pepper.
Line a ramekin with pastry, leaving enough so that you can fold the top over. Pour the bacon mix in and fold the pastry closed. Spread a little milk over the top (so it turns a better golden brown).
Cook for about 20-25 mins. I am not going to lie I had a bit of a problem with mine because for some reason it is only grilling stuff and heats up very slowly so I put mine in at about 100 but then left it for ages by which time it had heated up…..but it should take about 20 minutes (or until the pastry has browned).
