- 300ml warm water
- 1 tbs milk
- 1 sachet of fast action dried yeast
- 500g strong white bread flour
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1/2 tbs salt
- Knob of butter
Method
Add all the dried ingredients together and add the water gradually, stirring in. Then add the milk.
Take the dough out and knead on a floured board until elastic and not sticky (flour rectifies stickiness).
Pop back in the bowl, covering with cling film, for an hour. When this is done, knead a little more and roll out on a board into a large rectangle about a centimetre thick. Cut down the middle (longways). Spread a good chunk of peanut butter on one strip and chocolate spread on the other. Roll them up so they look like two long sausages (see photos below).
Now, wind them around each other and leave to prove for another 20 minutes. Pop in the oven for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
Wow. Super good. Enjoy.
