- Ready roll puff pastry
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Two large english cooking apples
- Good handful of sultanas
- A sprinkling of brown sugar and some milk for the top
Method
Pop pastry in your tin. Slice your apples and then toss them in a bowl of sugar and cinnamon. Be liberal! Place the sugared apple slices in the dish (arranging them in a kind of fan). Add the sultanas and some brown sugar.
Cover with the remaining pastry and put a little brown sugar and milk on top (this makes it turn golden).
Finally cut a small hole in the top to allow any steam to escape.
Cook at 190 for 35 mins; for the first 20 mins put it near the bottom of the oven then lift it to the top to brown it for the remainder.
