- 3 large cooking Bramley apples
- 3 tbs self raising flour
- 3 tbs sugar
- 3 oz butter (I used salted)
The Apple Bit
Boil in about a centimetre of water for 10 minutes (until soft). Drain with a colander and mash with a fork in a baking dish.
Add the butter, sugar and flour to a bowl and crumble in your fingers. What does this mean? Basically just squeeze it about until it has crumbled - don't be too aggressive with it!
