Ahhh roast pork. Nothing like it. Smells amazing, tastes amazing, is amazing. The crackling crackles so well you'll probably want to wear headphones.
This was a fantastic evening. Elena and Venus cooked the turkey. Ronald and David made the best mashed potato ever, and Lawson Terrace (our house) made Apple Pie and Double-Decker Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding (posting soon!).

This is something that my dad has always made. Ever since I was little, on special occasions he would declare that he was going to treat us all to some of his "amazing dauphinoise potatoes". We would all inwardly groan, but really this is unfair. They are the most luxurious potatoes in the world. Nothing beats them. They are creamy and delicious! Furthermore, they are not actually that difficult to do - the ingredients are simple thing; there is nothing bizarre: potatoes, onion, cheese and milk are the key ingredients. Nothing more.
Give it a shot. It's fantastic.
What is chicken ugg? Well, it is the left overs from a roast. Sounds pretty nasty, but it is very nice and unbelievably cheap - you are making the roast chicken do two meals. Give it a go.
