- 100ml milk
- 30g plain flour
- 1 egg
- Butter
- Sugar and Lemon juice/Chocolate/Anything you fancy
Method
Measure the milk out into a jug and break in the egg. Beat like mad with a fork until it is foamy. Add the flour and stir in until smooth.
Put the pan on the heat and chuck in a small knob of butter. Wait until it has all melted then add the mix. Leave for a minute or so then poke under the edge of the pancake with a spatular; it should come away cleanly - if it does not, leave for a little longer.
Now comes the part where you toss the pancake. To do this you need to shake the pan a bit to get it moving then kind of flick it. Check out the inspirational video below and above.
