- 180ml maple syrup
- 175g chocolate
- 250g butter
- About 150g chocolate digestive biscuits
Method
Melt the butter, chocolate and maple syrup in a pan. Smash up the biscuits and stir in. Leave to set in the fridge in ramekins, covering with cling film. Maybe serve with raspberries or strawberries.
I work in a sweet shop and it was suggested there that you could turn this into a banoffee pie by popping whipped cream and slices of banana on top and then crumbling some flake over that. Sounds like a good idea to me!
NB. This is mega rich so don't put too much in to any one ramekin as you won't be able to eat it all!
